Just prior to 5:00 a.m. this morning on Missouri I-64 just west of downtown, a terrible accident occured injured 20 people. Over the weekend, a 62 year-old woman who was walking her dog near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Klemm Street in South St. Louis was struck by a car. According to witnesses, the vehicle was speeding and ignored a clearly posted stop sign. The vehicle struck both the woman and her dog. A serious car wreck involving two vehicles took place Friday night on Highway 63 near Sturgeon, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a woman from Hannibal, Missouri was going the wrong way on northbound Highway 63 when she entered the southbound exit ramp. Upon entering the southbound exit ramp, her 2006 Ford struck a 2007 Toyota traveling in the correct direction. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage from this Missouri automobile accident. A simple water main break turned deadly early this morning. According to the St. Louis Fire Department, a young man in his 20’s was driving on Riverview Boulevard when his vehicle hit an ice patch, spun out of control and wrapped around a tree. Although the young man was rushed to an area hospital at 8:45 a.m. this morning, he died just over an hour later from fatal injuries suffered as a result of this Missouri car accident.

A tragic accident occured today on Highway 67 north of Bonne Terre, Missouri. A driver of a semi-truck smashed into a car that was stopped on the highway. There were three people in the passenger car and all three people were killed from injuries resulting from the car accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was driving on a revoked license.
